Our logistics
The timely and highly seasonal supply of our customers with high-quality fertilizers depends to a large extent on well thought-out, efficient logistics.
Short, quality-assuring and cost-optimized paths are important to us.
We make use of our long-standing partners in sea and inland waterway transport, cooperate with qualified forwarding agencies, transhipment and warehousing companies.
Sea transport
The chartering department of Agro Baltic GmbH has many years of experience in the sea transport of fertilizers and other bulk goods in sizes ranging from 1,000 – 20,000 mt across the Baltic and North Seas.
Inland waterway transport
Agro Baltic GmbH has its own inland vessel units and good contacts with owners of inland vessels for the transport of solid and liquid fertilizers. Services in the field of chartering of inland vessels are also gladly undertaken for third parties.
Land Transport
At the request of our customers, we are happy to organize on-time land transportation with efficient and reliable forwarders.
We do not have our own fleet of vehicles.
Storage
We ensure the timely delivery of fertilizers to the agricultural sector during the season through our own and rented storage capacities.
For example, we maintain a warehouse for solid and liquid fertilizers at the Lübeck site. Since 2005, we have been able to deliver liquid fertilizers from there in various nutrient compositions.
Other warehouses for solid and liquid fertilizers complete our structure.
